My Story

My name is Mary Irving and welcome to my website.
I started working in aesthetics in 2016 as a hobby while pursuing my career as a nurse in the NHS.
My career began in the NHS in 2013 after completing my DIPHE in adult nursing at The University of Greenwich. I initially Specialised in orthopaedics and surgery before moving over to acute medicine. Aesthetics became a passion of mine when I first completed my training with KT training in Harley Street, since completing multiple courses and training in multiple areas of aesthetics and medical weight loss.
Within my aesthetic career, I started out driving to people’s homes and providing a mobile service before renovating my garage into my perfect home clinic.
I found that being a nurse in the industry especially in the area I work I was bringing something new to the table, what I felt was a standard bare minimum of practice was a shock to clients who had previously received treatments and I quickly gained popularity within Essex and surrounding areas. Admittedly I made many mistakes in business while also working full time as a nurse and trying to have some form of work life balance, making many sacrifices along the way. My hobby quickly evolved into a passion and I found myself working 7 days a week juggling two nursing careers, and going in completely different directions.
Thriving to provide a safe haven for clients I take pride in working with Save Face and have achieved accreditation from 2018 to the present day. Working autonomously is a scary world and I wanted to make sure that even though I think I am a safe practitioner, I have the confidence to say I AM a safe practitioner and here is my evidence.

My Ethos

After the Birth of my two children, I quickly started to realise that working within the NHS was no longer possible and began to peruse the idea of aesthetics as a full-time career. Following the birth of my second born, I returned to university and completed the V300 non-medical prescribers course. This has enabled my development not only in my own clinic but also in working alongside other practitioners.

My clinic is a reflection of me, it is very simple and relaxed. There are no thrills and fancies. Simply me, with a needle doing what I love. I want clients to feel confident in their decision of where to get treatment, it is after all a huge decision and can have life-changing effects.

Often as practitioners, we forget how much thought and deliberation goes into deciding to have an aesthetic treatment and choose where to go especially with the industry as wild as it currently is. My ethos is to ensure that your decision to choose me as your practitioner is not taken lightly and my door is forever open to any support needed, any questions, and queries.
